Father's Day - etc

Where did June go? I swear it was just last week that we were thinking about the end of school. But here we are. It is near the end of the month. And barely a blog entry from me. Thanks Mom the for email reminder today.

Let me catch you up: Kids are out of school. Jack is in his second week of dance camp. Lauren finished up her camp last week. Holly has had Calvin in the fields picking strawberries - I think just for us but she says he was quite productive. His fingers are turning red but the money is good. (Just kidding of course -we don't pay him - he does it for strawberry milkshakes.)

Travels: I made a road trip to Klamath Falls and Medford a couple of weeks ago. I may have wandered into Del Rio Vineyards on the way home. Oddly it snowed on my way over on June 10th. I thought it was Spring. I also did a day trip to Salt Lake this month too. Those are getting to be killers...

Fathers Day: A pseudo-Father's Day tradition for us is camping. This year I got a double treat. We camped at Camp Creek on Mt Hood. We had great weather Then on Sunday, we met up with about 20 other families for a big picnic and hike. It was a wonderful day for everyone.
