So sorry to the extremely small number of loyal readers. Hi Mom. Wow so much has happened. Let me recap as much as I can
September! School started with two kids in middle school and one in elementary. Both schools are an art focus school with great teachers. They are all enjoying school and doing well according to the Parent Teacher conferences this week.
My parents came for a visit. We took a few side trips to Astoria (Dad wanted clam chowder!) and Hood River. Make sure you check out the Duel Calvin and Grandpa had in the street on our YouTube page. There are photos on line too.
No business travel for me! Yeah. One side benefit of the economy!
October! Busy Busy with kids in dance programs, birthday parties, and the like. The food highlight was Five Guys opened in the Portland area. Five Guys was a favorite of ours when we lived in the DC area. Holly consumed these little things in great quantities while she was pregnant.
November! Its almost over! Wow - how the time flies. Thanksgiving was delicious. Brining the turkey is the only way to go. Sadly Holly's Dad spent the time in the Intensive Care Unit. Holly and her family were able to spend a fair amount of time with him over the Holiday.
Holly will be very busy this weekend with several jewelry shows. The kids and I will be bowling (Jack's idea).
I finally joined the social networking era and created a Facebook page this week. I am happy that I have "friends" online. How sad would it have been to create an account and no one accept me as a friend.
